Saint Jean-de-Luz is located to the east of the Bay of Biscay, on the Atlantic Coast, just a few kilometers from the Spain, in Basque country. It is a very old port for both fishing and the capture of vessels by Basque corsaires. Today, it is also a favorite beach resort for the area.
